I think he was referring to 6.5 prc brass which Lapua makes and is the basis for the round.

Ptg. I know a lot of haters out there and customer service can be horrible. I have had them make me a good bit of wildcats and I have had good luck so far.
Could be. But typically on wildcats the diameter is listed fort followed by the parent case. I.E 22-250, 6.5-284, etc…..

I think i heard ultimate munitions on a podcast say they planned on building a 6.5-7prc imp. That should be interesting. Lapua announced new products and the 7prc was beat out by the 300 wsm and some designer 6mm I believe it is the gt. There should be enough demand for the 7prc in the competitive world to warrant lapua or alpha making brass soon.

I received my 6.5 18" carbonsix magnum contour barrel in November. I have the ADG 7prc brass. I am in no rush, but I will be doing a 6.5-7prc eventually. It is going to go on the Terminus Zeus QC action I picked up the other day. I have another barrel to do first. I am hoping I can get 3000fps with the short barrel.
A 7.62 Western?
The 30- 7PRC is doing very well. It's being tested by a few people. That might be my next build.
Lapua is coming out with 300 wsm brass. Great brass more case capacity, short action or if you go 7prc length action twist and throat your barrel for the heavy long high bc bullets. No need to wild cat unless you want to. The f class shooters already have the chamber reamers figured out.

I like Wildcats, no different then a Ackley Improved. Funny you mentioned F-class.
If I build a 30/7, I am thinking of Benchrest. Or some type of target gun.

In a f class type long barrel for velocity with target gun weight it should be a good choice. The only complaint about the wsm is recoil. The 30-7prc could strike a nice balance.
