Reloading 7mm PRC

7PRC ADG brass available now at Drifters Gear in FL

Got to the range today. The 180 Scenar hand loads were more accurate than the factory 180 ELD M's.

The factory ELD M's averaged 2888 fps

The 180 Scenars with 66.5 grs of H1000 averaged 2950 fps

The 180 Scenars with 67.0 grs of H1000 averaged 2993 fps and I stopped there.

Both loads shot well. Bullets were seated .002 off of a kiss. I am going to try .0017, .0023 and .0025 off with one of the two mentioned charges. BTW, I have a 26" Bartlein.

Hornady 1x fired brass
Fed GM 215 M primers

Whoops!!! Meant to say that I am going to try .017, .020, .023 and .026 off of the kiss. Added an extra zero in there!

155s from 18 inch barrel Federal is on their game....box says 3100 with 24 inch. Working up some 162 ELDM loads today RL23 an V560 look pretty good over 2800 an no pressure so far with being few grains under max book load.

I've been running 70gr of Retumbo under the 175 ELDX in most of the rifles that we have built. I'm using Hornady brass and GM215M primers. It seems like a great all around load as I haven't had any rifles not meet our accuracy standard which is under 1/2" at 100 yards for all 30 cal and under. This load runs a consistent 3000 FPS out of a 24" barrel. Pretty hard to argue with those results! I'm definitely going to have to build myself a 7PRC one of these days...
How far off the lands are you running? And your oal too? Thanks.
