It affects accuracy, so hard to work loads up. At least for me it did.....
It's hard for me to believe that it wouldn't cause a poi shift or affect accuracy due to harmonics in most circumstances being attached to the barrel. I really think the times that it doesn't have those effects are the occasional exceptions.

I'm almost certain the v3 will attach to a suppressor and has the ability to show more info on the screen. I have the sporter and I'm able to attach it to my suppressor as long as I don't use the rubber spacer, set sensitivity to H2 and it seems to work. I don't feel like I'm losing anything to the V3.

Anyone know how much of a difference between the "magnetospeed v3 chronograph" "magnetospeed SPORTER chronograph" models beside $200.00

I am just getting started with the Magnetospeed and my initial experience so far is that my sporter attached to barrel induced significant POI shift and group size increase on 4 different rifles including one with a very heavy profile. Not that that is a slam on the unit as it is intended to read velocity and so far appears to do that well.

Here is the KISS method.

The main difference was the limitation on the length of the muzzle device you can use, with the sporter only being able to use small devices.

Here's my version. A few 3d printed parts, a small piece of .75 square tubing, and bam.
Fits on any krg chassis, swaps easily.

Full agree this is the way to go!

I use a wiser mount, modified it of the sporter. Don't use it now that I have a labradar but the wiser mount is dang good set up.

If you have missed shots with a lab you are doing something wrong, usually set up and aiming. However, the best money spent is a recoil trigger. It is extremely rare to miss a shot with a recoil trigger and when running suppressed it's a must.

When mounted on a heavy-bull barrel, it doesn't alter harmonics. I use the Wiser Precision pictinny and ARCA mounts, mostly for fast swapping to multiple rifles.

It only changes POI ever so slightly on my gun, However, In my opinion, they should not be used when shooting groups but only to collect data.
