Got it - it's very expensive to shoot there. I shoot right up the road at another private club but it is limited to 400yds.It's in Catskill. Sheepdog Warrior.

I have a friend in farm country. Mill wright by trade so the hardened plate steel targets from 350 (chip shot) outbound is a great guy to know! He is also unbelievably knowledgeable reading wind and all things long range!

On the 65 Creedmoor, I would recommend the HBC works great

When you were shooting bars, you should have seen that out around 3000 FPS some pedals shear off, and fold back down to about 1800. When it comes to hammer bullets, their design is for all two shear off at the same place all the way down to 1800 and fold back all the way down to 1500.

Ive killed tons of critters with Barnes and a number with Hammers. Hammers are faster and more accurate and kill just as quick. I get no copper fouling with Hammers also. No experience with Lehigh. At the moment, the Hammers are quite expensive due to tariffs
I've used 44 gr Hammers for hogs in a 220 Swift at 4300 fps…..devastating!

My rifles seem to like the hammers better than the lehigh bullets and I'm able to get slightly higher velocities per weight with the HBs over the barnes bullets.

I've been shooting Hammer Hunters in .300 WSM & 7 PRC for about 4 years. I've experienced nothing but outstanding precision and terminal performance. At the range, they group nearly as well as match bullets. In the field, the terminal performance is devastating. I switched from Barnes due to poor Barnes availability several years ago and have never gone back. I've never had a "back-ordered" experience with Hammer, and that means a lot to me. It's very disappointing to develop an awesome load - and then your chosen bullet is unavailable as hunting season approaches. Every hunting shot I have taken with the HH's has the been successful. Also, I suggest loading light for caliber and driving the bullets fast.

I used the 267 gr HHTs out of my 338 RUM last year. All 4 animals (whitetail buck, die antelope, 2 cow elk) at 400-430 yards. Worked well, but can't say they worked any better than other projectiles I've used. They were very easy to work up a load though.

I'm not a copper fan. For lots of reason I won't state at the moment. Hammers are the best killing copper bullets I have found. They blood shot the least. The wife and I have killed several animals with them. Every one was an instant dirt nap. Even the less than perfect shots. One of the easiest bullets to develop a load with. Hammer Bullets are my go to since I live in communist CA and our dictatorship CA Fish&Wildlife demands we shoot copper bullets.
