.585 BF Short Action?

I'm sure this has been discussed or is just a silly idea but I cannot find much info on the concept.

Has anyone made a Short Action Magnum cartridge with .585 or larger bolt face?

Here is a list of most cartridges, I guess I just assumed someone would throw one in a short action rig.

That would be a laser if you could keep it stable. Wonder how fast you would go through barrels?

I like the idea. Don't need very many follow up shots, so one or two down in standard bottom metal would be plenty. With suppressors it would be nice use more or the barrel for equal powder burned. Kinda an Uber wssm.

Right! Titanium or stainless short action throwing 400+ grain pill down the tube.

I think you could get a short Bat Vesper and then change the bolt face out for whatever you want.

Perhaps but as soon as you select Lapua for the bolt face only long action is available. But I guess you could make your own bolt, or have it made.
