Primer Change

I have a Redding bushing that was stamped .229 but is actually. 225.
I've got a few others that are .001 off

have you tried seating the bullet with the lands? I've never used anything but 215 gmm's in my edge but with 300 grain bergers they like to be jammed. 250 SMK's seem much more forgiving on seating depth.
Been trying to get my 33XC shooting better and finally got a good powder charge figured out and think I found a good seating depth. Just need to get my ES down, at this point is a primer switch the best option?

0.010" off lands 3231, 3270, 3256 velocity

0.020" jump 3239, 3241, 3268 velocities

0.030" jump 3220, 3242, 3246 velocities

The load is 112.2gr of Retumbo with Fed 215M primers and 275gr Badlands SBII. If switch primers, do I have the potential to loose the accuracy? Should I load 0.040" to 0.050" and see what those do?

They measure .623 tall, .624 in diameter
I have the same die, and I'd like to know as well.
A whidden or Redding doesn't look like it will work, Tubbs must make his specifically for his die.
If I remember a Whidden and Redding are about .350 tall and .500 around

Well, thanks for checking. I'll have to get in touch with him, after all. Where does one get pin gauges?

Yeah L. Sheen, I forgot, Tubb dies are of a modular type design. One body covers 338, 375, and 416 XC, wit just a bushing change. I'm reasonably certain he will make one custom.

idcwby out of curiosity what is your O.D of your sized neck without seated bullet and loaded round?
