Best powder for .308 Win that I can actually find?

I've been trying to hunt down some Varget to load up some 150 grain .308 Win for my newly adopted youth hunter. Can't find any but I've seen a decent amount of powder on the shelf. What's the best substitute that a guy is likely to find right now?

IMR 3031 will work and is available on the hodgdon website as I write this. Won't meter nearly as well as varget but is available.

CFE223 is fairly easy to find and shot ok in mine.

Besides CFE223, and TAC, try 4064, and the forgotten discontinued 4320, mostly available in olderLGS. Both are in the Varget burn rate territory

Depends on the bullet weight but I like TAC and H4895.

I have nothing fast enough. Rl22, rl26, 4831, H1000, and a bunch of pistol powders.

3031 has been used for long time. Cfe223 works well too.

Seems like some Ram Shot, Accurate powders & H CFE223, BLC2 are available. AA2520, AA2495, AA4064. R-S TAC. The .308W is a great equal opportunity powder burner. I like Powder Valley.
