My load is 200 grain accubond .020 off the lands over 94 grains of retumbo Remington brass and CCI large rifle magnum primers. Gives me .4 inch groups at 100 yards with my rem 700 sendero

Sorry I said it wrong I ment can you load them to the col or do they shoot better 20 thou off the lands

Need to query them on the brand of brass they are using too.... Brass volume for the RUMs can be all over the board depending on the brass they are able to find and use. Could be 2 Gr. or more difference in the load.

230 Berger Hybrid target
Norma/Nosler brass
87.3 grains Retumbo
Fed215M
All chronographed shots were within 8 fps of 3000 fps
Verified with 2" groups at 530 yards

I recently started shooting the OTM to see about getting a round to fit and feed from the magazine. It is also proving to be at least a .3 capable load with the same powder charge and distance from the lands.

Rifle is a custom build with a Stiller action, Krieger 10 twist 5R, in a manners EH1, currently topped with Nightforce NXS.

230 Berger hybrid
Remington Brass
89.4 gr of retumbo
Winchester LRM Primers

Shoots .5moa out of my Remington 700 Long Range, with a 26 in barrel, within 10 fps+/- of 3000 fps.

CPG 300 RUM 26" Brux with side discharge brake.
Remington brass 3.060 off comparator
97.5 H1000 shows psi signs with smiley on case rim.
3407 fps. Shoots .300 groups consistently.

Same gun with 215 Berger load.
3.035 off comparator
90.0 Grains H1000 no psi
shoots .300 groups consistently
3110 to 3125 fps.

230 Berger Load
3.030 off comparator
89.7 Grains Retumbo No psi
shoots .300 groups consistently
3000 - 3015 fps.

This gun has been the easiest to load for. No matter what load I put in it seems to flat out shoot! Pretty good for a hunting rifle. I have a few other customs that dont shoot near as good as the 300 RUM.gun)

I am using the following:
Berger 215 Hybrid
.040 off the lands
Remington Brass
215M Primer
87.2 gr of H1000 for ~3050 fps. My SD is a little high at 20 right now. Trying to get that down

Shoots right around .5 MOA

two loads I've been using in my 300rum rifles:

RP brass for both

180 hdy fb
93-94gr. rl25
215
3.650" oal... this load is good for about 3300 fps and 1/2 to 2/3 moa average accuracy

225 hdy hpbt
95gr rl33 or 100gr rl50--- either powder works but rl50 is rather compressed
215
3.650" oal... these powders will push a 225 grain slug to 3,000 fps with ease. great accuracy but also generates recoil

I've been playing with 200 eld-x and rl33, but the load lost accuracy in cold weather... time to work with other primers and possibly sub rl25, rl26, or retumbo in for the rl33.... rl33 seems to like to have a HEAVY load on it before it behaves... no mid weight bullets for that powder

Norma brass
90 gr Retumbo
230 gr berger just barely off the lands.
Federal 215m

30" lilja 1-10. 3100 fps. Best group about .300 at 100 yds.
