I'm not sure you are getting a consistent burn of the powder. I don't try to make a rifle like what I want anymore. I would switch to a diff powder or primer. I find that Retumbo some rifles love it and others not so much.

Agree with the guys saying powder burn issues. Just a guess though. 20" tells me to go with a faster powder.

gun is built for 180 Berger's but I don't really want to shoot them I want accubonds or hammers

With such a short barrel I would step up to a powder in the 4831 rate of burn. Maybe even 4350.

Shouldn't be. I throated mine for 180s but 195s shoot too darn good.
