What powder are you running? Currently I am running RL33 but with supply being what it is I am down to the last few pounds of powder. Looking at opinions for other powders to use. I am shooting 195 bergers.

N570
N568
Retumbo

RL33 was my go-to for the 28 Nosler w. 195s. But it has been non-existent for 3 years. Switched to N570 for most now, but I am testing N568 in a couple as we speak. N570 is a lower charge weight than N568 (which is very similar to RL33).

Retumbo is kind of a last resort. IMR8133 was similar, but has been discontinued.

I was thinking about trying the N568 but I couldn't find any data anywhere for it from people that have used it. I would be curious to see your results with it.

At 89.0gr, I had just a hint of an ejector shine @ 3103fps w. 195 EOLs in a barrel with only 27 rounds down it so far
Wow that's insane. I only ran 83.0 grains of N570 on resized brass and was at 3,123 fps. You may hit 3,200 fps Lance. Your gonna need it for those big dog eating squirrels yall have!

If anyone needs rl33 or n568 I have several pounds I'd sell or trade if you are close to me. I bought a bunch for some builds and settled on n570 and retumbo. Probably 10 pounds of n568 and probably 5 pounds of rl33 lol. None of my other rifles use them

Hahahaha I too am still in awe of that "squirrel" he posted the other day! 🤣

Whatever about the dog…I'd wanna be armed if I was camping in that kind of "squirrel" territory! To protect my nuts! You know, squirrels are always after nuts! 🤣
