What do you use to clean primer pockets?

Stainless steel tumbler and nothing more. Used to do more but become time consuming so had to find a more efficient way. Boretech with SS tumbling works well.

Title says it all. Do it by hand? Use electrons?

I started reloading by cleaning primer pockets for Dad about 1965. He used a small Grace hollow ground screwdriver. The handle is placed in the palm of the hand. Index finger on the stem. A quick turn of the wrist and carbon comes right out. It may not look pretty but it does short work of the chore.

I use a harbor freight rotary tool (9.99) and a small bronze brush
The good thing is the rotary tool is so weak there's no danger of over doing it
Unlike a real Dremil tool
Which would be way to strong for that delicate work

I do mine by hand. None of the cleaners worked for me so I made my own. I took an old screwdriver and ground the sides to fit the pocket then ground down the face so it would fit the flash hole to remove tumbler media. It sort of resembles a tiny wood paddle bit.

This is really a good tool. If you have to run it by hand, this works as well as anything else, fast.

I use my Sinclair carbide pocket uniforming tool.

+1. I mount my in a hand held drill and can doo 100's of cases in minutes

I let the stainless steel pins do the work for me in the tumbler. More than adequate IMHO.

Pins and cleaner. Lyman primer hand tool after cases are dry. Works great

I use the next primer to clean the pocket. And the next primer, and the next primer, and the next...

I use an RCBS station. Primmer pocket uniformer that I check from time to time with my calipers

Nothing, it is a waste of time.
The only thing I do is make sure there is no tumbling media stuck in the flash hole.

I use a electric Lyman case prep station. I usually only do the primer pockets after a couple loadings.

Bottleneck brass: Straighten one leg of a large paper clip. Swirl the tip around the pocket then punch thru the flash hole to verify no media left in the case. Done.
