Turrets or drop cards under 500

This is exactly what I was thinking of using it for. Is that a custom turret or the bt they sell with it?. I actually had a swaro on my creed at first and was gonna have turrets made because it was a bit lighter. But ended up with a bushnell elite 6500 2-16. I've just been using my app and dialing moa for that but being I'm slowly moving to less range with it in hunting I was thinking turret would be quick. Anything over 5-600 yards I think to many factors come into play so I'll keep using my app. Or my Leica solution.
Here is the way I had mine buit I think the colored dots are fine, this just looks cooler. One thing on the Swarovski scopes besides the X-5, 600 yards is about max for these turrets and scopes.

Good Morning James,

Below is the link to the ballistic program. If you create an account and proceed through with the dropdown menus you will be able to create your Personalized Cam. Once you submit you will be given a serialized number which once provided to use at customer service we can have engraved and shipped out to you.

I ordered the Kenton ones for my .257.
I also put in my drops from my table out to 600. Kenton was using bowlers bc which always tend to be off. So I went with my applied app bc out of the library and just punched in the numbers off my drop chart. Those seem to be spot on

I always like verified real data. Like you, I use my app program that I have used in the field and know the data is good. When filling out the form, I pick the scope, fill in the yard data with clicks to 1300 and they'll do the rest. They'll make the tape to the max yards until you run out of room.

Sorry I messed these pics up. The group on steel target F is at 600 yards corresponding with this picture, at 700, I fell off the steel. You can see at 600 I'm hitting low, so turret /data is off a bit.
Looks like .5 low. What do you think the cause and effect is? Label made for a different atmosphere condition?

IDK, I "might" have changed the loads from original turret data, in fact yes I was shooting a different load buy the data was "close enough"

I did notice your side parallax is way off for 700. I know they are not exact but it seems like it too far off. ??? It doesn't change for any of the ranges you shot it appears.

That's Awsome. That's about what I was hoping for. That's very good. I tend to only take shot that far on pigs anyway as I like to try and close the distance as much as possible for big game.
Side note what rest is that looks very solid.

Shooting Silhouette we'd check our zero's before the match and you also set/check your dial ups by distance, for example:

Chickens @ 200m = 0+0, this is our zero
Javelina's @ 300m = 2+3
Turkeys @ 385m = 5+2
Rams @ 500m = 7+3

We used to dial in at each distance before ballistics calculators were available, I still do this for hunting purposes, its a lot faster than using the calculator.

There's between 1,000 and 1,500 feet in elevation difference between the shooting range and where we hunt so no major change on POI to worry about. I use the dial ups mostly if the shot is above 350m, anything less I hold over if needed. For hunting my zero is 250m. Impact 2" high at 100m and 8" low at 350m.
