Sako rebarrel

Thank you. In general I almost exclusively use 30 mm riflescopes. May I ask you who did the stock work and rebarrel?
This was a new custom gun, not a rebarrel. It is all thru Accuflite Arms Inc. in Export, Pa. (724 327 0100 or 724 733 3666). The owner, JB, has custom Sako actions with Accuflite serial numbers he buys in mass direct from them. He is the largest Sako importer. He has a stock maker who is in Montana, and the barrels are from Walther and are a reverse taper and low sulfur SS to his spec. The reamer is a custom PTG that is stock 300 PRC, but with a no turn neck. The gunsmith is a Western Pa. smith that has years of experience who does competitions and that I have dealt with on other projects and he does excellent work. As part of the purchase the barrel is properly broken in.

A Tikka prefit will thread (and headspace correctly) onto both Sako 85 & A7 actions. While I wouldn't recommend going out and purchasing either action for the purpose of building a semi-custom rifle off of it due to the limited aftermarket stock choices available, if you already have one of these rifles like I did and want to screw on a new tube you certainly can.

The attached photo is of a Sako A7 sporting a Carbonsix Tikka prefit chambered in 300wsm that I'm currently in the process of finishing up.
Did you see a big difference in the weight with the Carbonsix prefit? I love the Long Range Roughtech stock but it would be nice to lose some weight....
