Lightweight hunting suppressor

I'm trying to decide between 3 different suppressors, see if I can get some input to make up my mind. I'm leaning toward the GA precision Jaeger can, but looking at the silencer co. harvester evo, and stingerworks Hunter. Think they are 7, 10, 9 oz cans. This will be used for only hunting and light shooting. Budget is under 800.

I think your budget may be an issue and definitelywl be if you are including the $200 tax stamp in that $800. I am a big fan of the silencer central cans and they have a new backcountry that is in that 7oz range

What you shooting? That makes a difference on can chose also.

If I know you, I'm pretty sure this is sarcasm? I think you're saying "don't buy into the 'if you can't take it apart and clean it, don't buy it'" siren song.

why buy a can that can not be cleaned? They all get clogged from carbon! Throw away can's....you continue buying them over and over throughout your lifetime. Spend a little extra on a can that will last you a lifetime!

I was planning on a Harvester Evo for my first... Ended up with a different can just because the Evo wasn't available when I purchased (should have my first can back in about a week, hopefully). Very interested in hearing about the Evo!

Mine is sealed, and I've cleaned the carbon out of it a couple times. Ultrasonic cleaner and CLR goes miles!

It'll go on wsm style cartridges like 6.5 prc 6.8 western, and a 6.5-06. I have a sealed griffen can and soaking and cleaning it works actually really good.

I did look at that banish backcountry can and it looks really nice, but I don't see a big difference between that one and the GA jaeger can. The jaeger weight 7oz 5.5 long, the stinger work does come apart, and harvester seems like a popular pick

You might look at the Deadair Nomad ti also. Your $800 limit is keeping your choices down.
