Bean and I are good friends. He loves to bust my chops on the 6.5 Creed.
I never planned on yielding either, then my 243 needed a new barrel and my gunsmith suggested I turn it into a Creed. The dude is a HOF benchrest shooter and a legend in the firearms world, so I went with his suggestion. I never wanted to get on the Creed bandwagon. All I can say is that I've been really impressed. And once I tried RL26, I couldn't believe it basically became a 6.5/284 Norma. I believe it's a great deer and pronghorn cartridge, and is perfect for hunting South Texas deer.
