I wonder if machining oil is more toxic than lead?

Oil burns off. Lead doesn't.

Have to pack the nose with phosphorus (note for those in Rio Linda: bad idea because it ignites when it hits air/oxygen and could cause serious injury or death. Aka, joking here).

I guess I shoulda just left lead out of the question. It was just the first thing I thought of since monolitics are often used to replace leaded options just seems like monolithics wouldnt come with other chemicals. I dunno, whatever not a deal breaker to me anyways I just care about how the bullet performs and Hammers excel at that.

Definitely left over from machining. The whole bullet is covered in oil when it comes out of the lathe. When I went over to talk to Steve about what bullets I wanted he was pulling bullets out of the machining area and they were all juicy.
