Anyone ever get banned from a forum?

Some threads or posters are just not worth my effort, and they make it on my ignored thread/ignored list. Like most of us, we always try our best to contribute and try to help our LRH members based on their current situation, goal/purpose, level of experience, budget, etc.

While my list of forums has significantly dwindled to a handful, LRH being on top, I always try to adhere to "site rules" and the "Golden Rule." It kept me grounded and from being banned.

"It is not what a man puts in his mouth that defiles him, but what comes out."
Or the places he sticks his head. 😱
Good riddance to ignorant people I say.
That you bring it up here indicates it bothered you. You'd have left sooner or later, they just helped you make that choice.
Keep it pithy.
LOL

Warned many times (NSFP, profanity, combative), had my posts removed multiple times, and quit a few in disgust.
I can be an immature, disagreeable curmudgeon - just ask my ball and chain. 👺

I love it here because we are forced to face fact and data or else we get blown up or miss.
Also because of the way Len runs it... simple and fair.
It's the only site I take part in and even refuse to facebook. Too much noise. cheers all

I have not but I have dropped out of two. On one I got tired of one guy acting like a "Big Stick." The other thread I made the mistake of not acting like a dumb**** on my first post about a technical subject - I guess I needed to "earn my stripes."

I joined this site a long time ago, but lost interest for a while. Let's just say it is my belief that at some point you can mathematically prove that certain ranges are statistically impossible to achieve first round hits 90% of the time (or you can read Bryan Litz's books). I think when LR RFs first came out everyone thought there was no limit to what one could do with a rifle, only to discover wind is one of the four letter words not banned on this site. I came back to this one searching for info on the Trijicon Ventus but stayed because I am interested in LR shooting, and in time I think most members have come to realize animals are not targets and hope is not a firing solution.

I caught a ration here from 2 of the worst 24 hrcf bullies. Glad to see thread was canned.

Funny how threats are made hiding behind a keyboard but will never follow up on them.

internet is accelerating the chances for the playground wimps to get even. Look ar who runs Facebook, Twitter an Google. All were last picked to play dodgeball, which is now banned.

Yup, got sat down here on a thread that went south, and I wasn't even one of the bad ones... only pg13 or so...
Just remember the golden rule for offices and you will be fine for the most part... replace BLEEP you with sounds nice.... solves a lot of problems I hear... I don't do well in a cage though so I don't do office work...

We all get a chuckle by some comments members make to others. Some days it's tough NOT responding in the way our gut tells us too. Sometimes not going with your gut response is the best choice. I've had numerous threads cancelled from comments that were probably a bit political but I'm learning...slowly. Been in ****in matches with others but nothing personal, just a difference of opinion. Some I move on from and in another thread our positions are on par with eachother's. Others just keep distance for whatever reason. Disagreeing isn't personal but some think enemies are born if they occur. I never go into any discussion thinking I'll probably get banned today. On the other hand I don't really even think about it because more times than not, I ask for or give experience not wanting conflict. Sometimes we don't always get what we want.
