I got pretty wound about these bullets for a new long range marmot rifle. Was thinking 25-284 but have been told by a well educated group of young rifle builders that case and bullet will probably have a less than 1k round barrel life for top accuracy. What do you expect barrel life to look like with your new case? I'm sold on the bullet already.

Speaking of velocities expected, I have a 257Wby, zero freeborn, 26" (iirc)PacNor that consistently and extremely accurately pushes 100 gr Ballistic Tips to 3750 over a 35P.
Dropping to 24" and adding 31 grains to the payload could be very interesting to try. I'm thinking my 10tw may not like the length so accuracy would be severely compromised. But it would be interesting to check on the velocity.
With the 100gr BTip, the harder they were pushed in testing (RL22), the smaller the groups. Name? I'm cogitating, I'm cogitating ...per Jack Benny
