Hello Del,
Well, my experience with the smith at Salida Gun Shop was **** poor................
Can you recommend anyone? I need my barreled action fitted and probably bedded into a new B&C stock.
Being relatively new to the area I have not made many connections with people yet.

.224 round

There are several heavier grain bullets that problem would work in the .224. Something in the 70+ gr. area probably would work. I feel it's a little under gun for deer.
