140 vs 147 ELD-M

Which one do you prefer? My 6.5 Creedmoor really likes the 140. Target and deer hunting.

I think there is a huge tendency to overthink these things. If you put either bullet where it needs to go I don't think it matters.

I agree with @The Oregonian, which ever bullet shoots the best is the one to use, my 6.5cm shoots the 147's over Power Pro 4000 (RIP) really good and the 140's over H4350 nearly as good.

I voted 140 just because of the limited capacity of the Creed'. As far as I'm concerned, it's a win-win situation. The 140 can be driven faster while still offering very a very good ballistic coefficient & high sectional density.

For whatever reason (probably because i'm weird), I have never been a fan of the 147, in any cartridge. It seemed to me as a solution looking for a problem... maybe .

I Prefer,.. the 143 ELD-X as, IT's,.. TOUGHER !
Has a .037 thick, copper Jacket,..
And Hornady, Designed IT, for,.. Big Game.
Precision Hunter Ammo, HAS this, Bullet for, a REASON
