Canadians don't drink by a clock

, with us it is situational but five is a pretty common time for a drink up here. It is -35 here at 5 a.m., a wee dram in the morning helps ward off the chills. Then again, beer washes down Bacon and eggs at 9 just great too.

I'll skip the nutmeg but gotta have my Texas "1836" egg nog and Apple Pie Moonshine. 50/50 mix. Here in Texas if you're awake it's drinking time. On my third bottle of each since Turkey Day. Have 2 bottles left to get me through New Year's eve. Not sure if I have enough.

Only problem i ever had starting earlier than about 2pm is your wiped out by the time the youngins start drinking after work. Then they get to talk trash about how the old man can't hang while your passed out on the couch.

Any issues with oil contaminating the powder? I'm thinking it must be a non issue since I haven't heard of any issues so far.

I was curious to see how far down the hollow point went into the bullet, so I stuck a straightened paper clip in the hole and oil oozed out! Hmmmm, isa wondered! I checked a few more and they all had oil in them. I saw the Hammer Bullets video showing a smoke trail and stating the vapor trail was actually smoke from burnt oil in the tip. I figured somebody accidently got gun oil/lube in that bullet. Nope, they must all have oil in them.

Out of all the posts, articles, and online research I've conducted, I have not seen this brought up yet. So, my questions:

Is the oil just merely left over from bullet making/machining the hole?
Is the oil in the holes to initiate hydrostatic opening of the tip/petals?

Just wondering if oil under compression could be a contributing factor in hammer success?

It's possible but they put a pretty large hollowpoint on them so my guess is that's the major contributing factor for their expansion under their parameters.
