Favorite Truck Gun- Lets hear about your favorite truck gun.

I know I'm getting paranoid now that

A) I need a truck
B) I don't have a gun that can handle any and all possible scenarios 😁😁😁😁🤣🤣🤣🤣

I need a handy little short barrelled cz550 in 458 Lott cuz you never know, they're talking about de-extincting the wooly mammoth and winter in Saskatchewan seems like prime mammoth habitat
Cal, you do need a truck, if not only just to have a "truck gun"!

Crossfire MK1 over/under 12 gauge 223 pump. Takes AR mags. Also a benelli M2 and a 300 blackout with a 9" barrel. They are in ther with a SA Hellcat all winter.

We have a lot that make the rounds.

Probably my HK300 22 mag rides a lot all the time…I've had it for the better part of 35 years.

I do carry a short 21 in barreled 6.5 grendel encore—mostly in our ATV. It is just so short and handy.

I do have a 6mm ARC that use to be a grendel with a night sight on it. I use a good bit for a truck gun.

Last 2 deer seasons I carry my suppressed 22 creedmoor a good bit..it will reach out and touch something if needed.

Rossi .357Mag, 16",SS
Customized by Steve Young
Picture?

I need to buy a 357 carbine lever gun when we visit my wife's siblings in Salinas, CA, then to her other sister in Seattle, WA.

Behind the enemy lines, besides my 3 inch SP101 357 Mag, I like added security feeling with rifle nearby. Good thing lever guns are gtg, I think... rules changing every year, who knows lever gins might be assault weapons up and down the left coast for all I know.

This is mine
I thought about making it an SBR, but don't want to carry around the paperwork

Truck Guns:

Most, if not all, farmers, ranchers and mountaineers carry their favorite truck gun everywhere for personal, livestock or crop protection.

As a farmer:
My current is a stainless Savage 110 Storm in 223 Rem. I bought it when they first came out in a bundle deal with a 3-9x40 Vortex Crossfire BDC scope. The sun has baked the cheap anodizing on the scope to a pinkish color.
Although it has never ever been cleaned... it shoots 1/2 MOA with my Mexican Match ammo, which is bulk Tula 55 gr fmj pulled and seated with cheap factory seconds 55 gr V-Max. Only a bit of chamfering of the crimp to seat the flat base bullet and done.
It has taken many different species of depratory animals and varmint such as wild hogs, coyotes, racoons, nutria, mink, rats and birds.

What is your favorite truck gun?
For me it's a 22wmr in a savage 93 with a laminated stock and fluted barrel it shoots quarter size groups at 100yds with 40 grain pills its deadly on armadillos and coyotes

I'm in the process of cleaning out my safes and selling like 15 guns. Don't have that one accessible right now. But I might put it up later.
Jill and I started a "RIFLE (firearm) RESCUE".
We are trying to help out all the owners that cannot give proper attention to their Firearms.
We have it set up where we have plenty of room in a gun safe for the Rescued Firearm. Also would be taking it to the range to have some lead or copper shot through their barrels. Actually, have Rescue Range Days so these firearms could interact with other Firearms. After that they would get a good barrel cleaning and look for Copper/Carbon build up.
Just send us a PM with information on the Rescue so we could take care of it and know that it now has a good home.
We are also taking Donations to take care of the older Firearm Rescues.
Thanks
Len & Jill
