6.5 PRC on a SA

I think most would say that GA Precision or Hill are more custom rifle builders rather than production. And Sauer could be considered a production company. But I haven't seen them produce or sell many rifles here. So yes this is helping my argument. Thank you for noticing that.

GAP, Christiansen, Sauer all sell finished rifles "off the rack". Those are by definiton not customs.

You should have quit long ago but if you wish to continue making a fool of yourself I'm not going to hold you back. Might as well prove it to the whole world yet again that you simply have no idea what you are talking about as usual.

Now, now, now remember Rule #2. Please try to control yourself be respectful.

Why do you consider them completely different?
Because one uses the .375 Ruger with a rebated rim.

Hornady and GAP looked at a lengthened version of the .300RCM but did not want the rebated rim so they developed their own proprietary parent case for the PRC series.

As soon as Len Loses his mind and makes you a moderator I'll give your directions all the credence they are due.

Until then I'll give them all the credence they are due.

Till then when you have something accurate and of value to contribute to a thread by all means let us know. I'd hate to miss the first such instance.

Because one uses the .375 Ruger with a rebated rim and the other a lengthened .300RCm with a standard rim, they just lengthened it.

Neither you original or your edited statement is correct. Maybe you could try for that magical third time.

A 375 Ruger doesn't have a rebated rim.

A 375 Ruger is the parent case for the 300 RCM.

A 6.5 PRC is a necked down and shortened 300 RCM.

As far as I know the 375 Ruger is NOT a rebated rim. And the 300RCM is based off of the 375 Ruger.

No, they started with the .300RCM but instead went with a proprietary cartridge that was similar.

You are correct though on the .375 Ruger, I'm mixing it up with the rebated rim cartridges they were looking at orignially.

Nosler went through similar gyrations with their new line and I'm mixing up the two.

Do SAAMI drawings confuse you? If they don't, you should compare the specs.
Was I at all unclear here?
