I've gotten all of my trust paperwork back, and I'm going to submit everything this week and am trying to lock down a suppressor. I was going with a T&J tactical from a shop in SW VA, but I picked up a Silencerco lightweight at another shop, and It's got me torn. I will use mine at the range, but also for hunting. I want something light, that won't kill me or my kids when hunting. My hearing is horrible and I have frequently sinus infections that just kill sometimes when I let one fly in the woods. I've tried electronic muffs, plugs, etc, but don't always have the time while hunting to stick them in. So, anybody with suppressor experience that could chime in on their experience with various magnum rated suppressors? Thanks!

I use SAS suppressors on everything from the big .338-408 all the way down to a .22-.250 AI, and I'm extremely happy with the performance of them. There are a pile of different manufacturers out there, so you're going to have to narrow it down depending on cost and options. I suggest no matter what make you get, choose a direct connect, read thread on, titanium suppressor.

Thanks guys! Does this fit the bill? It's $650, and I can run it on everything from 300wm down to 5.56. Says direct or patented modular threads. See any issues with this model I should be aware of? Or, is there another model with a better bang for my buck?

I have several different makes and if weight is a concern then go with a titanium or aluminum one . I have Yhm and silencerco , really like the lightweight ones myself...

Also, the shop that I looked at has them for $650. Is that a good price, or is there a better place to shop for the eggs? I am brand-new to this market. So, any help is appreciated.

Not sure what it is made of, as they only state that baffles are. 17-4 stainless. It weighs more than my .338 suppressor that is made of titanium.
I'm sure it would be a good choice.

Based on that price, I doubt it's made with titanium. Most likely mild steel.

Am I going to get to see this 22-250ai in action buddy?

I'm not sure... I'm having a hard time talking my hunting partner into taking the ride....
We're supposed to be out hunting local farms tonight, but he had some family business to take care of, read "go to the movies".
It's hard to find dedicated partners these days.

I'll keep in touch.
