I have both the 458 socom and the 300 blk. Both use the ar15 platform. I gave up on the 50 beowolf as the bullet selection sucked compared to the 458. The 458 will drop anything you hit with. It especially using the cutting edge raptor. With that said I think my 300 blk would fit your bill jjust fine. I have killed many pigs with this gun 23 in four days this year.
