What speed are you getting out of he 97's ?

Never tried them in my needmore. I'm getting 2950fps out of my 6.5 grendel ar and over 3k out of my 16" grendel bolt.

We don't get many snow days in South Carolina. I went calling right after work. 85 Hammers 6.5 Creedmoor. Bang. Flop.
First kill with the hammers. Small exit, ZERO blood. 85 yards, I drug him about 5 feet to that tree and ZERO blood....but I cant argue with dead.

My wife runs a Weatherby Outfitter in 6.5CM
1:8 twist
22" barrel
124g HH over 38.7g Varget
2,868fps with solid 1/2 to 3/4 moa
ES <20, SD <10fps (most of the time)

She killed her first Blacktail buck this year @ 60 yards, DRT with minimum meat loss.

I use H4350 and Varget for everything with the Hammers so yes is the answer with the 140+ and varget for anything lighter than that

Keep in mind quickloads doesn't take into account the lower engraving pressure so he may get more than that which is typically what I get out of mine compared to quickloads.

The newer versions do (July 21 and Nov 21). They have pretty much all of the Hammer bullets in there and have shown to be reasonably accurate for me.
