Mesa stocks are pretty nice. On a short action both of mine have come in at 25oz.

I went with a local stock manufacturer. MY LOP is about 3/4in longer than the standard length. The rifle is a bit over 8 lbs with an NX8 scope and 26in barrel.
I am doing load development. I would share the results but I can't seem to figure out how to attach pics from my computer.
