Im still a fan of the 260rem for kids. I had it built for him by a buddy mine for his 12th birthday. He just got his 3rd cow with it two days ago. Hes 13 now and put this cow down at 530yds. 20in barrel shooting 131gr hammers at 2918fps. No recoil at all.
