I am NOT going to name to the outfit this thread is about...I'm not about bashing the installers of our community in Forums.
Here's my problem and question....
I recently had an outfit chamber a LR308 barrel for me, with a custom reamer I own.
I have had them chamber several custom LR308 barrels prior to this last barrel, with no problems... so I felt a another barrel was going to be a piece of cake....
The completed AR barrel has the barrel extension installed, and the muzzle is threaded, BUT....the barrel was short chambered by about .750" or so....
I'm not feeling the "warm and fuzzies" about the same outfit correcting the short chambering of this barrel.... (it's a long story)
So here's my questions....
I am wanting someone else to chamber this LR308 barrel do the correct depth.... And I will pay them for it...
With the barrel extension installed on this LR308 barrel, can this short chambered AR barrel be chambered to the correct depth? I have the Go/No Go gages and the bolt head.
Will someone even want to do this, since it was not their mistake or problem?
Thanks
