Will a vortex viper pst 2.5-10x44 and a 20 moa base on a 260 savage long rang hunter get me to a 1000 yards?The gun will be for targets and later on hunting.

Should work fine. That caliber a has about 30 MOA of drop to 1,000 yds.

It will defintally work, I would probably opt for something with PA, but it will work.
