SCOPE HELP

I live in Colorado. Need to purchase a good scope must haves are

custom turret option
NON illuminated (illuminated scopes are illegal in CO to hunt with)
18 power or more
Zero stop
30mm tube
under 2lbs
around $1000 to $1500

As far as custom turrets I think Kenton industries makes custom turrets for a lot of different scopes. For scopes, I love my sighteon s3 6-24. Easy, effective zero stop, 30mm tube, 100 moa of elevation adjustment, great glass for the money. Tracks great and is relatively light for its class at 24.3 oz.

Custom turrets can be somewhat limiting. I'd buy a Nightforce SHV F1 in that price range and did. Just print out your drops and tape them on the stock. It tops out at 14x though.

Zeus's Conquest 4 6-24X50 would be my choice. Very nice scope for the money.

Personally I like the Athlon Ares ETR, but for some reason you think you can't use illuminated reticles for Colorado. If that's the case I've been doing it all wrong for 5 years....

Called the DOW an asked. They said if it has a battery or capable of having one you can't use it to hunt.

Look at the Zeiss v6 line. You can get them in 3-18x50 or 5-30x50. I have three of these and they are great scopes. You can find these lightly used, well within your price range. Red Hawk Rifles also has some good deals on demo models right now.
