Washington is gone...oregon is gone...california is gone...nevada is going.......idaho will be soon enough as all the californians moving here.....what makes you think Wyoming is any different....
What we are battling is the urban sprawl....all the people wanting fresh air..and to view wildlife.....they vote to pass the initiatives...and their growth is way faster than locals can reproduce.....
Gee...sound familiar....wolves transplanted...and animals depleted............
One thing you may be wrong on. Most Californians that leave the dictatorship are escaping liberalism and 70% control of the state. Not libs to spread their demise to other states .

If it does pass, I say start them out in Estes Park, they have a town herd that needs to be managed. The tourist can view Wolves taking down elk.
Hopefully this fails miserably and doesn't ever come up again.

Not sure if this is the best place to post this but, wanted to give CO residents a heads up on one of the initiatives that will be on the 2020 ballot.

"Restoration of Gray Wolves" Initiative Qualifies For 2020 Ballot
The Elections Division at the Colorado Secretary of State's office announced today that Proposed Initiative 107 ("Restoration of Gray Wolves") has qualified for the 2020 General Election ballot.

The "Restoration of Gray Wolves" Initiative is a statewide initiative and therefore requires at least 5% of the total number of votes cast for all candidates for the office of secretary of state at the previous general election, which in this case is 124,632. This requirement is outlined by Article V, Section 1 (3) of the Colorado constitution. After reviewing a 5% sample of the 215,370 submitted signatures, the projected number of valid signatures is greater than 110% of the total number required.

Random Sample Verification Summary:

Total number of qualified signatures submitted - 215,370
5% of qualified signatures submitted (random sample) - 10,769
Total number of entries accepted (valid) from the random sample - 6,967
Total number of the entries rejected (invalid) from the random sample - 3,802
Number of projected valid signatures from the random sample - 139,333
Total number of signatures required for placement on ballot - 124,632
Projected percentage of required valid signatures - 111.80%

The Calculation of Sufficiency is available here. The text of the "Restoration of Gray Wolves" Initiative is available here. A record of all accepted and rejected signatures, including reasons for each rejection is on file with the Secretary of State.
The other initiatives approved for the 2020 ballot at this time are Senate Bill 19-042 National Popular Vote Referendum and Initiative 76 ("Citizen Qualification of Electors").

In California east you can bet it will happen.

All I can say is everyone that hunt's needs to be at the poll's voicing your right to vote. Call your representative until the phone goes dead. Email, get on social media. This is not going to end until we vote down these stupid bill's and vote out the very moron's that try to get these type bills passed! Colorado doesn't need anymore California type Bill's or representatives... More proof that the Electoral College works where everyone's voice count's not just the larger cities. This year is very important for us that love to hunt, fish, camp, target shoot, and protect our families. We are in a fight to keep our rights and liberties. I hope Colorado stands up and fight's this because it's really not about wolves, or bears, or even gun control. Folk's this is all about PEOPLE CONTROL!! Please do your research and stand up.

Maybe..just maybe......we missed something huge.....
I know the lib winch running Oregon is a cal transplant(he/she/it)...
Maybe every state that is now being run into the ground is being headed by a California transplant.......
Wouldn't that be just the funniest thing ever....that the ones ruining the state's for everyone is on Soros payment plan......
Wolves spreading like lib cals........i have run into a few here in idaho already...recent transplants....one wanted two independent cities to join the city governments..the other sent a pic to me of a deer in her yard eating her flowers from her yard inside the city limits and told me to stay away or she would call the cops.........
I would rather have the wolf.......

Is live trapping wolves legal? Maybe you could live trap some wolves and release them into her backyard to help with the overpopulated deer, being the nice guy and helpful neighbor that you obviously are?!

No neighbor of mine....ive lived in idaho last five years....
Born and raised in SW Oregon....spotted owls killed the logging
and Californians bought up all the houses and ranches....not a decent home to be had any longer....

I've lived here in CO all my life and find it hard to believe what it's become. Our politicians are lefty liberals and the western part of the state simply has no voice anymore. I'm all for shooting every wolf that hits the ground here but doubt that will happen... something to be said for obeying the law. I'm going to Wyoming next month to start looking for a place to move to.

Same in Nevada. Clark county controls the whole state & gov sissyass came right out & said he doesn't give a dam about the farmers!!

Don't bet the farm on that. I had plenty of neighbors in Nevada that were die hard libs & scorned me for my shooting & hunting!! They still vote dem!!

I was a life long resident of Colorado but fled to Wyoming in 2012!
Now my wildlife and livestock will be attacked from north and the south!
What is happening in Colorado is so sad! It's all concentrated on the front range!

With Minnesota as my home state, and having lived and hunted in Colorado, I think this initiative is a poorly thought out proposal. The gray wolf has all but destroyed the deer hunting in the Lake Superior region of Minnesota, along with a good number of pet dogs and whatever else lives on the end of a chain, and has treed hunters. Gray Wolves are now migrating south to find food. They are a magnificent animal that must be managed.
I'm up in Michigan and can concur it's been devastating up north. The huge impact it's had on the houndsmen is unbelievable. The coyote, fox, coon and bear dogs get picked off so regularly that a lot of the U.P. guys come to the lower half to run dogs. Then there is the idiotic waste of money my hunting license fees and taxes have been spent to reintroduce wolves to Isle Royale because the last wolves inbred so badly they died out. It's an island, as if they won't interbreed again!?
