Is there still a recall on these?
I've been trying to find a brand new one in 7 mag and it seems there's none to be found. Does anyone know if these are back in circulation yet?
Thanks.

The recall is still in effect for the older guns. Meaning that you can still send your guns in for trigger replacement. New Remingtons are back on the shelf and there are plenty Senderos out there.

There are currently 4 auctions for Sendero SFII in 7mm Rem Mag on there now. How ever you better be prepared to pay......

Hope this helps,

Dan

Who cares about a trigger recall or sending your gun back to Remington... The XMP triggers are trash anyway. They'll just be even worse when you get it back.

If you find one, buy it, then immediately put a Jewell or Timney in it. You'll be much happier.

Yup, and for that reason, IIWY, I'd go with Stiller Custom Package - Stiller Custom Actions this for a build instead.

That's a great deal if he wanted a .30 Cal

I'd buy one in a heartbeat.....no funds right now...lol

As far as the trigger goes.... Any thing is better than that new *** that they're putting in the new ones.

I think he asked about the recall as a way to explain the un-availability of the rifle he's seeking.

If that's the truth, then internet forums would be completely useless because nobody would ever listen to anybody's advice, and nobody would be asking questions. Therefore, rendering forums useless other than for pointless banter.

Your meme says, "Don't base your decisions on the advice of those who don't have to deal with the results", right?

Well, by asking advice, he is seeking opinions from those who don't have to deal with the results of his final choice, correct?

Therefore, your meme insinuates that one should not worry about other people's opinions, because they don't have to live with the choice that you make. Therefore it would make forums null & void, because forums are for seeking advice and sharing knowledge. And if nobody should seek advice or knowledge (as your meme insinuates), then it would make forums useless.

I thought the meme was pretty clear in that respect...

Geez, you obviously took it out of context and further complicated it unnecessarily!

It simply means, end user has the ultimate decision and must face the consequence(s) associated with that decision regardless of influences, i.e. ,personal or external (family, friends, forums, etc ...).

Still having trouble finding a Sendero in a price range I'd be willing to pay at this point, if I can locate one at all...

I've got a line on a different model that's piqued my interest though:

Has anyone had experience with the 5r Mil Spec? This rifle in 308 would also be interesting to get my hands on, even though I'd prefer the Sendero in a 7mm. I've got a line on a couple of these rifles that are unused for right around $1,000.
