I was about 10 the last time I saw this commercial. 30 Cal but what's the rifle? Obvious mauser action. Maybe a sporterized 1903? Look at the barrel!!

As to a masterlock...It may withstand a bullet hole but I routinely removed them with a hammer..I had kids put them on various things in the high school auto shop where I taught. Usually it would be removed with three good blows from a large ballpeen.

I thought it 1974. Dolphins and Vikings. The year the Dolphins had the only undefeated team in the NFL. I quit watching pro sports a few years after that.

Inter arms mark X, The TV one has had some custom work on it. Owned one in 1968, had fancy California stock, high cheek, in 25-06, bought it from areo marine in Birmingham Alabama.
