post your dipped rifle stocks

Im getting a rifle stock dipped, Lets see your stocks that have been dipped.

I have a rifle with the same color natural gear done by Bell and Carlson . I discovered that I can change the overall tone of the stock by using a colored sharpie to fill in some of the areas. The sharpie is easily removed with brake clean. (CRC green can)

Currently I highlighted many of the brown lines with a black sharpie and it looks great.

I have had that dipped stock for 8 years and no solvent has attacked it. It is holding up well to the usual hunting exposures.

Too bad Bell and Carlson has stopped doing it.

Hi, does the carbon fiber help reduce felt recoil or just lower the weight ?

Cloud peak Gunworks has both vias and verde.

Hi, does the carbon fiber help reduce felt recoil or just lower the weight ?

Mine is just carbon fiber hydro-dip, not actual fiber. But I think it would just reduce weight. I dont think it would do anything for recoil. Probably make it worse because its lighter.
