Peterson Brass &&^^%$##$%

Out of the box, my Alpha 22 Creed brass needed a mandrel to open them up. Otherwise, seating pressure was deforming projectiles, despite chamfer/deburr. I ran a mandrel through them and the problem cleared up.
OH dear gawd :eek::eek:NOT APLHA.. say it aint so PAAAAA:eek::eek:🤣🤣🤣🤣

My friends say it's not fully formed at shoulder and still needs fire forming.
Everything needs at least one, if not a few shots to "fully" form, but the Alpha case is no more or less formed than Peterson 6 Dasher. Which is to say each are factory cases for the cartridge, and not something that is being drastically reformed in the chamber a la a 6BR case.

Without sizing, and chamfer inside and out, the seating force was so great that the case was slightly crushed causing hard clambering. That's my take on what happened.

I just loaded Nosler 325wsm. This brass is supposed to be ready to load out of the box. Nope. Had to size and chamfer to avoid hard seating.
