Don't sweat it Ed. Let me know how that 168gr turns out. It could fit the bill for areas where I could be close in or out to 700 yards, maybe more. A lot of areas like that for elk out here in Eastern Oregon. One benefit for a bullet that does it all is you know how it performs in the wind and at distance. We have a ton of varying conditions out here in the PAC NW.

Found -this- on their site under 300BO. Separate from other .308 bullets.

Shows an example of it expanded at 2560 fps (claimed, no reason to doubt), specs to open down to 1100 fps. Decent G1 BC of .320. IDK why they buried this under 300BO; sounds like a most useful hunting bullet for those of us who follow the 'light & fast but tough & likely to penetrate deep' philosophy. Ordering a box for testing; to my eyes oughta be vastly better than the brand new (and presently unavailable) Hornady CX 110gr .308 mono bullet. Which looks like it'll sell at $55-56 / box of 50, versus $41.50 plus shipping for the same qty CB MKZ bullet.

They need to offer some .284 products.

The more companies, the more options, the better for us hunters, shooters, whatever you cup of tea is! Competition creates innovation and maintains reasonable price. Except when there is a pandemic, or government steps in.
I for one welcome any post about a product old or new, in case people have not heard about it.
