I tell you what if I would have had a few of them at the range to day I would have sold out!! I finally got all my tooling and jigs built so I chucked up my 270 WSM barrel that is kinda my gunsmithing trainer and installed my first brake, it is a 4 port Muscle Brake from Jim See. Jim really gave me some good advice for the install and really helped to make it successful. The four port was way over kill but I have plans
Recoil was somewhere near a 22-250, barely moving the rifle and the cross hairs just moved a little but never came near to coming of target and I hold it real light while shooting of a bipod with a bag.
Blast at the shooter from the brake was ZERO, I could not tell I had a brake installed! Another shooter was very impressed with the noise level and how the brake worked, my dad was ruined after one shot!!
I've shot a few different brakes on rifles but never on a rifle that I had shot this much without one and then installing one, I can never go back
I have two more to install then I will have to order some more for my dad, I think everything in the gun safe will be getting a Muscle Brake, big thanks to Jim See for a great product and taking a little extra time with a newbie on the phone!!
OK before I get struck by lighting I threw a new paint job I wanted to try on and took some pics! I could have tapered the back more but I don't think it's to bad for my first one!
