Hammer 338 HHT is in testing right now. It is 210 gr. Apex Afterburners offers a 200 gr. I've shot the afterburner in my 23" 338 RUM at 3200 FPS with R26.

Here's my experience with the HHT (although slightly heavier at 267 gr). I'm sure the lighter weights would do well also.

267 Gr HHT - 338 RUM RL-23

I recently joined the local rifle range and had a chance to go test some loads this morning with the 338 RUM and the new 267 gr HHT. This was also the first time I had tried my TBAC 338 on the RUM - to say it was awesome is an understatement. I have a ton of RL-23 sitting around on my shelves...

Are you looking for a dangerous game solid? We have done some prototype in 338 cal that we could do for you. If you are looking for a expanding mono bullet we have a few in your weight range. Assuming you are running a 338 win mag I would recommend the 205gr Power Hammer. The Power Hammer is a hybrid between the Hammer Hunter and the Shock Hammer. 2mm hollow point, bigger than the 1.5mm on the Hammer Hunter and smaller than the 2.5mm of the Shock Hammer, with a longer nose like the Hammer Hunter and similar weight retention of the Hammer Hunter. The 205gr Power Hammer will retain about 65%. Dalton from the Northern Hunter podcast, who is a guide in Alaska, uses this bullet in his 338 RPM and has used it on moose and brown bear with great terminal performance.
