I'm looking at their Action Wrench #2, which is for round body receivers. I too would prefer an interior wrench, hence reaching out to PT&G and SAC.
So, this is what you need. Got it from PMA Tool.

Yes, that's what I'm looking at from SAC and PT&G. Do you know which one from PMA would fit the Patriot action? They have many options, but none call out the Patriot.
The 1 I posted is for rem700's and savage110's (could be for other savage models, but unsure).

Footprints doesn't mean same action, only certain parts fit (trigger, stock, barrels). The action (bolt & receiver) can be different. Like Zermatt for instance, rem footprint with Savage/Remage barrel system.

A friend of mine that has built several BA's had used an adjustable wrench in place of a receiver type. I decided against that method, but to each is their own.

My Xcaliber in 22-250 AI shoots very well, especially considering their price. If you search around (especially on Rokslide) you'll see that McGowan has had quite a bit of QC issues and CS issues.

Xcaliber frequently runs a 20% off sale around the holidays. If not in a huge hurry, I'd wait for Black Friday.
What is the twist rate I'd your x caliber 22-250AI? And what ya shooting? I just ordered a carbon barrel from them for 22-250 rem. Went with 20" 1:8" twist

I was trying to find the chamber length using a bullet with empty brass. Bullet got stuck in the chamber, it wouldn't knock free with tapping the butt on the ground, I only had wooden dowels available to try to push the bullet out, and those dowels got stuck in the bore. After freeing the bullet a couple days later by drilling into the back of it, I tried carefully drilling out some of the dowels, but I ended up touching the rifling with the drill bit after the bit split the dowels. It was a big learning experience full of moments when I knew I should have slowed down to think a little more, but I ignored that thought in favor of getting things done "quicker". Now I get to spend hundreds of dollars instead.

Awesome! Good to hear. It a carbon barrel as well? I plan to load the 62gr hornady ELD-vt
depends on who you get info from about needed twist with the edl-vt you need a 7.5? that's only due to marketing of the 22arc. that would have to be 1 long 62gr to need a 7.5.
