what is the purpose of a Parrot vice? what tasks does it excel at? i've never owned a vice, and I regret it every few projects. my 3rd stall of my garage is going to have several in it, lol.I mounted a Parrot vice at the end of my loading bench. Use it a lot. . .
Why would you go 6" deep? Not that i am disagreeing, just wondering if there were specifics that drove you to 6".Shelves are 20 inches tall and built to 4inches deep. I would go 6 inch deep shelves, but that cuts into my work area.
I keep bullets on one shelf, and die sets on the other shelf. The die boxes protrude off the shelf a bit, and bulk bullet boxes are 6" X 6". It's not really a problem, it would just look a bit neater. Those lights with the magnify glass are handy. I use one at my fly tying bench, and it moves to my reloading bench when needed. Why would you go 6" deep? Not that i am disagreeing, just wondering if there were specifics that drove you to 6".
Thanks @Ol' Red , gotta figure out what I want to do for this. Shelf spacing and whatnot.I keep bullets on one shelf, and die sets on the other shelf. Yeah but its just nice to have a compressed air hose nearby. I think i have a 40 gal 220v compressor in my garage.Whole garage is plumbed in 3/4" copper (that I did install, but didn't buy) and fed by an upright 60 gal. I-R 220VAC compressor.
Those CA Air compressors are amazing. I have one of their 12VDC units for an OBA install and it is so quiet that I'm looking to put it inside the vehicle.
I use the air at that bench more for working on rifles than anything else, and even then only occasionally.
