I wanted to hear what everyone else that has used H4831sc, which cartridge has it shown to be the most accurate powder? I have heard it is great in 6.5-284N, I have also found it is very accurate in the 6.5PRC as well, what other cartridges have others found this powder is the top of the line for accuracy? I am not looking at velocity, just accuracy. Thanks in advance.

I use it in my .270s, I am about to make a good run with it in my 6mm Rem and I'm pretty sure I have a .243 that I started with that is unfinished.

I wonder if it would work in a 6 Creed? I have used H4350 in the 6 Creed and 6.5 Creed.

I had a 280AI that liked 4831SC with both the 150 and 160 grain Accubonds. They weren't going superfast, but they made bugholes.

Can't imagine it wouldn't work in a 6 CM, it's worked great in the 243 for eons and the 243 is pretty much the same thing as the 6 CM

I used it in my 6.5-284 all the time with great results. I now use it in my .25/06 and it works very well too. I know it's not interchangeable but my 25/06 always did well with IMR 4831 too.

It is thee powder I use in my 6.5 Sherman Short with 140 gr bullets, one of my go to powders.

My 25/06 AI was very happy with it. Then it became a fire breathing 25 Sherman LA

X2 on 280AI. Good fill, decent speed, and great accuracy. It worked well in a 7RM as well, but IMR4831 gave me a bit more speed.

7RM launching 140 and 168 class bullets. Not warp speed, but precise.

I will probably try it in my 6.5 Creed, with H4350, I could not get the 140 Berger Elite Hunter to group to my liking, RL16 was a little better. I just had never heard of anyone using it for that small of a cartridge. Now that I am seeing more people on here mentioning using it up to 300 WM, I think I will invest in an 8lb jug when they come back in stock. I have a little over 1/2 lb of sc and about 3/4 pound of just H4831.
