Felt recoil

The Muscle brake on my 338 NM has no back blast to the shooter or even if you are standing next to the shooter. Much prefer slabbed brakes over radial for prone shooting.

Only thing I have with slabbed brakes is their UGLY very very UGLY lol

I run a standard weight 300RUM with no brake. I add 17.5oz lead shot inside the stock when at the range, takes the recoil down to an '06 level IMO. Pull the lead out when it's time to hunt.....you won't feel it when squeezing down on a critter.....

7mag is a great choice, less recoil, lot's of availability

No personal experience with the PRC but I run 6.5 Grendel and 264WM, great bullet selection for the 6.5's
