Have you seen the process? What details can you give me? I'm looking at high modulus kevlar carbon fiber weaveWell I am pretty sure they are not a tube epoxied on, but carbon wrapped in many layers directly onto the barrel
Great! Thanks. I need a liquid thoughThe 3M 468MP works for carbon fiber and steel and can handle 400 degrees F.
Appreciate it. Got a bucket of barrels by the lathe that are waiting for a shot at greatnessMram10us I like your enthusiasm. I have a new pencil take off barrel .223 from a Stevens 200 if you could use it in your experimenting. Just let me know where to send it
Thanks
Buck
Has anyone seen how guys do this? Considered turning down a barrel to 9/16" from 4" from tenon to the muzzle then epoxying a 9/16" carbon fiber tube on and adding an end cap on the muzzle. Advice wanted. Thanks guys
