Crimp die?

I have 40 yrs. At reloading bench. Notwithstanding, I have never crimped. I got a 350 Legend to hunt Ohio. What is best way to adjust crimp die?

I like to seat the bullet and then crimp in two separate steps. Your bullet seating die likely has the ability to apply a crimp.

I only crimp my auto loader ammo and I do it in a separate step with a Lee factory crimp die.

For that type of cartridge, and I assume it has a tube mag, then for safety and assurance, I would only use a heavy roll crimp.
With my 45-70 and 45-120, less than a heavy roll crimp had bullets move under recoil…not a good situation.

BEFORE you crimp. it's a good idea to cut all the cases to the exact same length. Cases that vary in length will normally crimp with different tensions.
