maybe two years back I bought a Lyman, powered trimmer . it works great .it can however be hard on the fingers . if only there was a way to hold the brass with some type of device that was very easy to use . as it turns out there is and many of us already have it . it just requires a bit of modifying to use on all large size primed brass . it BTW already will hold small rifle primer'ed brass. that tool is the hand held primer tool .myself I have the RCBS handheld primer .in the LR configuration it holds the SR brass with ease. it works with the LEE trimer

A really interesting idea. I know what you mean by the sore fingers. I'll have to give it a try.
I am sorry I was wong about something, the RCBS universal hand priming tool is much easier to use than is the regular one . I also discovered the rod from the regular tool is longer than the rod in the universal . to be using the tool for holding brass use the longer rod .

This works well as a case holder. You need this, Lee she'll holders and the handle. They also make an optional power grip to ease tightening and releasing.
