28" WM Barrel with Berger 215's speed?

What should I be seeing with a 28" barrel shooting 215 bergers from a 300 Winchester Magnum.

I seem to by getting 2835 using a magneto speed. This seems kinda low to me.

Sounds right to me. Without knowing your posted number, I would have guessed 2850 tops. I am putting together a 308 Norma Magnum. i'm hoping for 2750-2800 fps from it with the same bullet.

I just sold my custom had a Bartlein 26 in was getting 2753. 75.0 gr H1000. Thought that was slow.

I get 3000fps in my 3 groove 28" barrel, 3100fps in my 4 groove 30" barrel. I get the same speed as you in my 4 groove 26" Kimber barrel.

I get right at 3000 fps with mine. I don't have a magneto speed: but drops out to 910 yds are spot on. 26" BRUX and used a PTG TAC reamer with a added 50 thou of free bore. 79 gr of H1000 with FED 215 primers.

That's no slouch; I'm pushing the 215 out of my Savage 11 FCNS .300 WSM with 24" 1:10" at 2750 FPS using RL-17.

My 24" Obermeyer runs the 215's at 2950fps but tends to shoot most loads 150-200 fps faster then a few buddies barrels of other makes.

In my 26" Brux barrel I get 2915.

I'm getting 2850 out of my sendero with 76.2g h1000. Was able to hit 2930 but to hot

I have a 25.5 Hawkhill and I am getting 2870 with 77.3 H1000 at sea level.
