264 win mag --for what?

Does Ted Gaillard install his barrels, or will I have to get someone else to do that? I have a M70 that I want to re-barrel and am planning on a Gaillard barrel.

My scope is a Meopta Meostar 30mm tube 3-12X56 . I really like it. I can't tell any difference in the glass between it and my Zeiss 3-12X56 in a side by side comparison. The Meopta is muuuuuuuch less expensive than the Zeiss.

Since it seems to be OK to post with any 6.5 not just 264 win mags, here's mine.

It is a rebarrel of a Browning BBR 300 win mag into a 6.5 rem mag with a 26" #4 Douglas 1 in 8 barrel with a McMillan swirly and a Zeiss Conquest 4.5x14x44 RapidZ 800

A magazine that was short for a 300 win mag turns out to have plenty of room to seat those long 6.5 rem mag bullets way out

It will push a 140 gr bullet up to 3100 fps and still no pressure signs with 60 gr RL25 and the 130 gr bullets up to 3200 fps with 58 gr RL22. But it has been showing a preference for the 130 gr Scirrocco at 3100 fps which is just fine with me

and is very dependable at all ranges on Whitetails and hogs

That 130g Scirrocco is a killing son of a gun isn't it. Both that I have collected from elk retained 82%, perfect flat front mushrooms.
