I decided to take an weatherby vanguard and chamber it to. a 264 win mag bartlein 7.5 twist barrel throated it a little after trying 147 eldm and 156 Berger's. the Berger's seemed to be a little more consistant. 63.4 grains N570 powder cci250 2980 fps is where I ended up with 3.57 coal. I'm seeing some people saying they are getting 3000 out of 6.5 wsm with the 156 Berger's. The 264 win is kind of old school maybe I'll try the 6.5 wsm next. I don't see to much about the 264 win and the newer heavier bullets. Anyone out there shooting this combo

I am trying to, every time I get an order completed for some 156g Berger's it says they went straight onto back order!
At the moment, with another extension in our current lockdown, I will have to wait to get some real data down on the 142g ABLR I have been testing seating depth and powder so far. Looking very promising with 10 shots into a ragged hole.
I have a 29" barrel, 8" twist so I can get a fair bit more velocity.

Cheers.

Following for your 142 ABLR data.

Built mine on a M-70 Extreme Weather. Bartlien 26" 3B in 8 twist. Berger 156, 3.477 OAL at 0.025 off. N570 producing 3095 in mine so I must be on the faster node than yours. No pressure signs. Mine is broke in.
