The world record 23 10/16" comes from Utah. That area produces big heads at times.
Anything over 23" is ridiculous, hopefully it was scored correctly, and it holds up officially.
25SST takes new Idaho record Bear.

I think the BC all time of 21" may be the toughest to achieve.
I hope it holds I love big bears.

101gr even at 655yd was likely still humming along at a good clip.

oh nevermind, i see on BC website that is the minimum to score in the All time category... so 20 is a minimum for making the book, 21 is all time minimum...

Boone and Crockett has (BC) an annual awards category that takes 20" to make. Then there is the "record book" all time that the minimum score is 21".

It was pretty wild to say the least. MV is too ridiculous to post for the nay sayers lol but @ 7k' it was 7 MOA holdover, impact velocity ~ 2,540 impact energy ~1,440 ft/lbs. He was broadside, didn't recover the bullet it went through n through and decimated the vitals. Bang, flop, death moan. Couldn't have gone better. I attached a few pictures of the ol bruin. I'm very curious to get his age results back
